This is part of my ongoing series of TrueNAS and FreeNAS setup, configuration and install articles. INSTALL SONARR AS SERVICE HOW TO

INSTALL SONARR AS SERVICE MOVIE
The project was inspired by other Usenet/BitTorrent movie downloaders such as SickRage. At this point I’ve downloaded everything. It will determine when an episode has been downloaded and move it to the correct media folder to be picked up by media servers such as Plex and Emby. But I recommend adapting these instructions to install Jackett and NZBHydra as per your needs since they can centralize indexing for Sonarr and Radarr for you. Most use a similar place such as C:\ProgramData\Radarr-4K Back in Command Prompt, create the new Radarr-4K service using nssm install Radarr-4K. Create a new folder where you’d like Radarr-4K to live. That would be from the Web GUI, very simple once you find where. default Radarr install, or if your data folder is somewhere else, you may have to change your paths here.
Sonarr can integrate directly into your media server setup and integrates directly with most modern download clients: uTorrent, Deluge, rTorrent, NZBGet, SABnzbd, qBittorrent, Transmission and many more. Indexers are setup inside of Sonarr and Radarr. The day that Sonarr really hopped into my all time fav basket was when I had began downloading a TV show outside of Sonarr. Even moreso than Plex because Plex can really be a huge resource hog. Even in their startup file) is, honestly, my favorite of all of the HTPC Apps. Sonarr V3 is technically still in beta, but it runs well and is stable! If you don’t know what sonarr is, it automatically downloads TV shows via Usenet and BitTorrent. Sonarr (old name was NzbDrone, which you will still see everywhere. TrueNAS only installs the V2 and this guide will help you install V3.
